COMMUNITY

The primary focus of R.A.E. is to rally the community around the need to reduce waste and to elevate the importance of the arts.

GRADES K-5

Offering opportunities for kiddos in grades K-5 to move, create and play while learning about how they can make their community a clean and green environment jumpstarts R.A.E.

FAMILIES

The culminating two-day festival allows those same kiddos a chance to showcase what they learned in their camp experience to the community and spread their passion about repurposing and creativity to their parents.

Beyond the showcase, the festival will ignite the attendees with creation stations, workshops on recycling, tasty food, drink and more.

ART COMPETITION

A highlight will be a competition of artists who specialize in repurposed art.

LOOK FOR THE STARS

Keep your eyes peeled for celebrities to promote the cause!

Who thought of R.A.E.?

R.A.E. Repurpose Art Exhibition is a brainchild of founder, Starlitt Miller. The resident of Columbia saw the gap between waste and recycling efforts in South Carolina.

Passionate about the arts and a dance herself, Starlitt developed a plan to explore how the arts (dance, music and visual arts) could raise awareness of fellow community members about the need to reduce waste.
